Anejo-Cherry Smash


2 oz Patrón Añejo 3 sweet fresh cherries, plus 1 for garnish, stems and pits removed 1 thin orange slice, plus a wedge for garnish1 teaspoon agave nectar¼ whole vanilla bean 3 to 5 ice cubes 2 oz club sodaPlace the pitted cherries, orange slice and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker.  Scrape the seeds from inside the vanilla bean and add to the shaker, along with the scraped pod. Muddle the fruit to a pulp, add the Patrón Añejo and stir. Pour over ice in a Collins glass and top with club soda; garnish with a whole cherry and an orange wedge, then serve.
